Construction of City Bus Depot with Charging Station for EBuses at Dharamshala

SCOPE OF WORK (CIVIL WORKS): 1. Entry/Exit with Security Room In shedding and out shedding for Bus depot busses is proposed adjacent to the existing fuel Station. Entry gate, 6 meters wide, approach road of 6.5 meters width, along security post is proposed for Bus registration/ Entry of busses. 2. Bus Parking As per our proposal 28 open bus Parking bays, 15 Bus inspections pits and 5 bus waiting bays are proposed. 3. Flooring of Bus-Depot Existing flooring is uneven, and existing CC flooring is cracked and ruptured due to wear and tear, thus 150 mm thick cement concrete, rigid pavement in M30 Grade is proposed over entire area. 4. Flooring for Administration block C.C. pavement of mix M-25 with ready mixed concrete from batching plant. The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with screed board vibrator, vacuum dewatering process and finally finished by floating, brooming with wire brush is proposed for flooring of administration and operational block. 5. Retaining walls RCC Diaphragm Retaining wall of grade M30 and length 110 meters is proposed on upper side of Depot Site Planning covering Workshop area. Toe wall of RR masonry of 1:4 and length 287 meters is proposed on lower side of Depot Site planning covering bus parking bays, workshop crew parking, existing HRTC building and along the proposed road inside depot. 6. Bus washing/Cleaning bays and Underground Water Tank As per smart city proposal washing bay is proposed near fuelling area, as per the existing conditions there is only one washing which is proposed to be shifted as shown in proposed layout. Underground water tank of 35 liters is proposed for water storage required for Firefighting and another underground tank of capacity 17.5 is proposed for washing bay. 7. Vehicle Maintenance Facility This involves the provision of area to accommodate fleet vehicle parking, fuelling station, vehicle washing/cleaning area, workshop and maintenance area, administrative offices, private parking, crew facilities, and other utilities. 7.1 Pits for Inspection and Maintenance As per our Proposal 15 number of RCC Inspection pits along with drain for proper water drainage are proposed for periodic maintenance of busses. 7.2 Painting, Upholstery and Body Shop Zone Paint Shop of Size 4.0x3.6 sqm is proposed in bus depot layout. 8. Operation and Maintenance block Operation and Maintain ace block proposed in workshop include facilities like Tyre Storage room, Spare Part Storage room , Oil Tank Storage room , Scrap Storage room, Battery Storage room, miscellaneous storage, Mechanical Room, Gear Box Room, Engine Room, Fuel Injection Pump call Unit, Electrical Room, Welding shop, Pollution Check room, Fuel Record Room. 9. Administrative Block Facility This building is at the center of vehicle operations. It controls the operations and maintenance functions along with other administrative work for the vehicle the administrative block to cater to a variety of functions, including assigning of crew duties, handling equipment such as ETMs and serving as the office for the depot supervisor. This includes offices like Jr. Tech Officers Room, Record Room, Computer Room, Drivers Rest Room, Duty Assign Room, Supervisors room, Work Manager Room, Washing Service Room, Complaint room and Record Room 10. Staff Facilities Proposed Bus depots include additional facilities for the staff such as toilet blocks, Crew resting room/Dormitories and canteen facilities.
