Surrounded by beautiful pools and lush greenery, this temple is located at a height of 1770m above sea level and attracts a huge number of devotees and tourists throughout the year. With a legend it owes its existence to, a waterfall nearby and a number of shacks and cafes around, this religious center has an air of spirituality about it, flattering sceneries around and much of vibrance and color surrounding it. Thus it tends to be both a significant place of worship and spirituality and at the same time, one of the most popular and visited spots in the area. The pools around this temple are believed to be sacred and contain miraculous powers of healing. The temple was built by King Bhagsu and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
