Development of Smart Road from Bus Stand to Education Board at Dharamshala”

The Scope of Works The total scope of work of the Smart Road comprises of both Civil works as well as Smart components. The scope of work of under this contract comprises of only the Civil works which includes utility relocation excluding the services owned by HPSEB, BSNL & IPH who are responsible for their services. The smart components work is attached to the Integrated Control & Command Centre which will be implemented under a different contract. Since these are inter-related works, both the Contractors need to co-ordinate their work for the successful completion of both the projects. There will be interaction meetings by the client which will be mandatorily attended by both the contractors. The Detailed Scope of work under this Contract shall be “Development of Smart Road from Bus Stand to Education Board at Dharamshala” The typical cross section drawings and the typical drawings for structures in the Drawings Section serve as guidelines for the contractor. Survey and soil investigation are to be carried out and the working drawings for each location with detailed drawings of the components are to be submitted and approval taken for each location before the commencement of the works. Road Cross sections up to the Right of Way shall be submitted at every 10m interval for straight stretches and 5m at curves. NOC for land is expected from Government departments. No acquisition from private land is proposed. The minimum carriageway width given is the minimum width anticipated to achieve. The proposal is to widen the locations to the proposed width wherever the available width is less. Bituminous works on carriage way as per MoRTH Specifications. Construction of one no. of pedestrian underpass. Provision of underground electricity ducts for the full length of road for which co-ordination with the HPSEB would be required. The cross drainage structures shall be widened/constructed and retaining structures constructed wherever required. Road furniture signages, etc. as per specification Design utility ducts, provide existing utility surveys and innovative method to minimize disturbances
